The picks:
1st round, #17 overall--Jarvis Moss, DE, Florida
2nd round, #56--Tim Crowder, DE, Texas
3rd round, #70--Ryan Harris, T, Notre Dame
4th round, #121--Marcus Thomas, DT, Florida

Best pick: Crowder
Worst pick: Harris

Analysis:

There was a definite theme to the Broncos draft: pass rush from the DL. Moss and Crowder are both athletic pass rushers off the edge who can also drop into coverage with some aptitude.

Harris is an enigma, showing flashes of 1st round talent but more often a giant letdown. If he responds to their coaching and scheme he could be a great value in the 3rd round.

Thomas is a 1st round talent who dropped due to considerable character issues, and Moss was suspended form Florida for personal matters last season. The team ignored the wafer-thin depth at LB and DB.

Grade: C+

Denver needed lots of help on the DL and they got it, immediately upgrading their weakest point. If Thomas and Harris positively answer the questions surrounding them, then not many teams had a better weekend than Denver.
