Thomas Dimitroff is a native Canadian and cut his teeth under Bill Belichick and has had immediate success both through the draft and free agency.

Various Notes

- The Falcons have an impressive history drafting quarterbacks with Matt Ryan, Matt Schaub, Michael Vick and dating all the way back to Brett Favre.

- Roddy White was an excellent late first round pick in 2005.

- Sam Baker's presence as a rookie left tackle was an underrated aspect of the 2008 turnaround. Curtis Lofton also was an immediate starter out of that 2008 draft class.

- First round picks Vick, T.J. Duckett and DeAngelo Hall are each gone already.
