With a regal smile, San Diego Chargers linebacker Antonio Gates proudly honors his career by accentuating the phrase of “ my career is not over yet”.

Charging through the Gates of the Kansas City Chief ‘s red zone, Antonio Gates, the third year play –maker out of Kent State reintroduced himself to the Chiefs defense with 10 catches and a stride frequency that earned him 145 yards and three touchdowns – presenting an all time career high.

While slathering thunder bolts down onto the chiefs TP of football frenzy jocks, Antonio Gates, 85 and the San Chargers staged a stellar performance and epic ambition before 62,750 fans at the Sun-Splashed Qualcomm stadium. Gates, 85 not only wore his tools for gridiron destruction, but he also “A” game, showing off an incredible catch for a 35 yard score launched by Drew Brees with 9:10 minutes remaining.

Gates gathered Brees’ by offered himself inside the flat, ran over a defender or a would be tackler and high chopped it into the red zone leading his team 28-13 . The incongruity of it was when the Chiefs did pull from a 15 to an 8 point trail with only 2:12 minutes remaining in the game.

This actually, opened Gates for the Chargers as they spawned a 4-4 improvement by wining this game they ever so, needed . The pressure of a must –win situation for the Chargers was expressed amongst team players blatantly.

With having the sweat a bit in the final minutes of the game – San Diego Chargers may have established a keen focus method with taking upon a more maverick approach towards the second phase of the season.

Although, LaDainian Tomlinson was held for 69 yards to the grid and no touchdowns on 17 attempts it didn’t derail their play strategy. With Antonio Gates retaining his diligence , the Chargers were a tough act to follow.
