Savage Wants Chance To Finish Job
4th December, 2008 - 12:59 pm
Beacon Journal - Cleveland GM Phil Savage believes that the Browns' 4-8 season is, ''more the exception than the rule,'' as he stated his case to keep his job Wednesday. He also said he would be disappointed if he's not able to finish the four years left on his contract.

''I'm an open book. I can walk with my head held high,'' Savage said. ''I think we have done a lot of positive things here. The football operations part of this organization is stronger than it has ever been.

''So is the job finished? No. I would be disappointed if I was not able to finish it out. I'd like to do that, but only time will tell.'' [READ]
