Jets' Ellis Will Play Despite Drug Charge

New York Times - Jets' defensive end Shaun Ellis will play this Sunday against the 49ers despite being charged with possession of marijuana last weekend.

"I apologize to my family, the fans, and the organization," Eliis said. "As a captain, I set a poor and selfish example for my teammates as well as all NFL players."

Ellis could be suspended under the league's personal conduct policy, but that process can take time. [READ]
