San Francisco Chronicle - When Mike Singletary replaced Mike Nolan on Oct. 20, the prospect of the 49ers finishing the season 8-8 seemed like a complete long shot.

Cornerback Walt Harris said, "That's where we want to finish. ... That's our goal for the rest of the year. Coach Singletary definitely came in and put his stamp on this team, and it's showing. I'm sure everybody sees it. I totally believe in Singletary and what he's done. Hopefully, the right decision will be made." [READ]
