Favre Likely To Retire?

New York Daily News - It is looking more and more likely that Brett Favre will return after one season with the Jets.

After the Jets' season-ending loss to the Dolphins last Sunday, Favre reportedly told general manager Mike Tannenbaum it "may be time to look in a different direction" at quarterback.

In the final days of the season, Favre gave every impression he was on the way out, saying, "This could very well be my last game." His demeanor didn't change after his three-interception debacle in the finale when he said, "I'm sure everybody's going to say he's old and washed up. Maybe they're right. [READ]
