After the Jets' season-ending loss to the Dolphins last Sunday, Favre reportedly told general manager Mike Tannenbaum it "may be time to look in a different direction" at quarterback.
In the final days of the season, Favre gave every impression he was on the way out, saying, "This could very well be my last game."
