| 9th January, 2009 - 5:22 pm |  Newsday - Former Cowboys' quarterback Troy Aikman told WFAN in New York that he'd take Eli Manning over Tony Romo at quarterback right now.
"I would have to say I'd take Eli right now," Aikman said. "I still think that Tony has amazing playmaking ability. He has some abilities that are rare in this league at that position and he can create.
"But when you evaluate the body of work and when you really evaluate 'what does it take to win?' when you look at Eli, he has a body of work that shows he has what it takes."
Aikman has always felt highly of Manning, but as recent as three months ago he was quoted as saying that he'd prefer Romo. [READ] |
