Eli To Become Next $100M Man?
14th January, 2009 - 10:18 am
New York Daily News - Eli Manning's contract is set to expire at the end of the 2009 season, and the Giants are expected to soon make a move to keep the quarterback in New York for the foreseeable future.

Several NFL sources say that Eli's next deal could be worth a league-high $15 million per season, which would be $1 million more annually than his brother Peyton.

Peyton signed a seven-year, $98 million deal with the Colts in 2004.

Several agents and personnel believe that Eli appears to be in line for a seven or eight-year contract worth $110 million-$120 million with $40 million in guarantees.

RealGM Note: Manning was ranked 16th amongst all quarterbacks in season FIC and had a Reina Value of -55%. He 'deserved' to make just $5.875 million based on the statistical quality of his play. [READ]
