Cowboys To Release Jones Monday

Dallas Morning News - The decision was made a while ago, but the Cowboys will officially rid themselves of Adam Jones on Monday.

Monday marks the first day that teams are allowed to release players for the 2009 season.

The move will save Dallas $1 million against their salary cap because Pacman's four-year, $13.3 million deal did not have any guaranteed money. [READ]
