Haynesworth Gets $100M From Redskins

ESPN - The Redskins have signed defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth to a seven-year deal worth $100 million.

The deal could reach $115 million based on his performance, according to sources close to the negotiations.

The pact also reportedly includes $41 million in guaranteed money.

Haynesworth officially hit the free agent market early Friday morning, and more teams had interest in him than expected.

The final choice came down to the Buccaneers or Redskins. [READ]
