Cutler Wouldn't Have Reported To Browns Because Of Mangini

Cleveland Plain-Dealer - The Chicago Sun-Times reported Friday that the Browns engaged in trade talks with Denver, but that former Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler didn't want to play for Browns coach Eric Mangini.

The paper, citing a source, said that Cutler's agent, Bus Cook, made it clear when talks began that Cutler re fused to play for Mangini and that he feared Cutler wouldn't report to the Browns.

According to the source, Cutler didn't want to play for Mangini because Mangini didn't get along last year in New York with Brett Favre, who also is represented by Cook. [READ]
