Calvin Johnson: Stafford 'Ahead Of The Curve'

Detroit Free Press - Lions receiver Calvin Johnson believes that rookie quarterback Matthew Stafford is already way ahead of the learning curve.

"He's definitely learning play by play," Johnson told the Detroit Free Press. "Every time he throws me the ball, he's learning the places where he can put it that I can get to it."

Johnson, one of the NFL's best receivers, has endured a carousel at the quarterback position in Detroit.

"He makes throws you don't see an everyday rookie make," Johnson said. "He's way ahead of the curve. ... It seems like the kid came in here and he knew what he was doing right off the bat." [READ]
