Eagles Won't Put Westbrook In 'Jeopardy'
3rd November, 2009 - 9:38 am
Philadelphia Daily News - Eagles coach Andy Reid insists that the team isn't going to play Brian Westbrook until his concussion symptoms have vanished.

Westbrook, who missed the team's win over the Giants on Sunday, suffered a concussion against the Redskins last Monday.

"We're going to make sure he's OK to perform. We're not going to do anything to put him in jeopardy there," Reid told the Philadelphia Daily News.

"He felt good during the exercise he did this past weekend here. One of the days he woke up with a slight headache - Saturday morning. It wasn't anything that was to worry too much about. He's feeling pretty good, and we'll just see how he does here, the closer we get to [tomorrow, when practice resumes]." [READ]
