Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams, who has been a disappointment since he arrived from Detroit, believes that his connection with Tony Romo is as strong as the one that was shared by Hall of Famers Joe Montana and Jerry Rice in San Francisco. Williams landed in Dallas 1 1/2 seasons ago and they then gave him a five-year, $45 million extension. "I promise you I won't lead the league in drops. I know that," he said. "People are off my bandwagon, which I don't mind. I'd be off my bandwagon, too." Williams told ESPN Radio that the connection with Tony Romo is much better than it was at this point a year ago. "We were missing balls, and bad throws and drops and all that in the offseason that carried over to the season," Williams said. "But this year, we're connecting like Montana and Rice. It's night and day from last year."
