Moss Open To A Trade
4th October, 2006 - 4:06 pm
Sacramento Bee - Chris Myers, host of Fox's syndicated "The Drive" show, interviewed Randy Moss by phone Monday after the Raiders blew an 18-point lead to a beatable Cleveland team Sunday and lost 24-21.

According to a transcript of their conversation, e-mailed to NFL reporters by the Fox public relations department, Myers began by asking Moss, who caught one pass in the game for five yards and a touchdown, how he was coping with Oakland's 0-3 record heading into Sunday's game with the 1-3 but favored 49ers.

To which Moss, who rarely speaks to reporters covering the team, replied: "I'm doing good, man. I'm not even that too concerned with football right now. I'm just loving life."

Myers asked if he shouldn't be showing more concern.

Moss: "No, because it doesn't seem like nobody else is concerned. So, why should I?"

Myers: "Really, you mean like on the Raider team?"

Moss: "I don't really want to single players out. I mean, I don't really know what the feeling is. But I know the feeling is bad, so that's saying no one cares about what's going on around here. I've said a few things. I've done most of the things I can do, and my thing is, if it's going to be relaxed, if I'm relaxed, then I guess that's what it is."

Myers: "So if you don't care this much, do you want to play somewhere else?"

Moss: "I mean, the way things are going, the way it seems, I'm not the only one unhappy around here. If me moving elsewhere is what my future holds, then I'm ready to see it."

Moss went on to say that he wouldn't oppose a deal if "they feel trading me or getting me out is the best thing to do. I've been traded once (from Minnesota to Oakland), two won't hurt." [READ]
