Porter's Agent Unable To Get Him Out Of Oakland At Deadline

San Francisco Chronicle - Jerry Porter's agent tried to work a deal to get him out of Oakland, but was unable to find a willing team. The Raiders wanted Porter to return $4 million in signing bonuses and for another team to offer a comparable player.

Porter was suspended by Art Shell on Saturday for four weeks. [READ]
