San Diego's Godfrey To Hold Off Retirement?

San Diego Union-Tribune - Randall Godfrey originally planned to make 2005 his final season but reconsidered after his sister was killed last November.

“I thought this would be it, but I'm just not going to say it,” said Godfrey.

“I'm not looking that far ahead yet,” said Godfrey, 33. “I'm just taking it one year at a time. I don't mention retirement now. I'm having fun and football's a medicine, really, for me now, because I love being around the guys. It keeps my mind off a lot of stuff.” [READ]
