Cowher has a year left on his contract but he could walk away from the job he has held since a variety of reasons, including family and financial considerations.
“What people really don’t understand is when you’re a head coach, you deal with all of the stressful hours of being a coach,” linebacker Joey Porter said. “It comes to a point where do you let football be your whole life? You don’t get to do the stuff that normal people do. He can’t just go to a restaurant and have dinner with his family. I know he’s been giving that up his whole life so at some point and time he will want that back.” [READ] |
