30th January, 2007 - 11:03 am
Tennessean - The Titans finished interviewing general manager candidates on Monday and indicated they should make a decision by the end of the week.

"We were extremely impressed with each of the candidates," Titans chief operating officer Steve Underwood said in a statement. "Each possessed a thorough knowledge of the league and presented a clear vision of how they can help this franchise reach the ultimate goal of a championship.

"We as an organization will take the next couple of days to consider the information we have gathered and possibly conduct further interviews with some of the candidates. Following these discussions, (Titans owner Bud Adams) will make a final decision on our next general manager."
Jaguars director of pro personnel Charles Bailey visited with the Titans on Monday.

The team also interviewed Packers director of pro personnel Reggie McKenzie, Seahawks vice president/player personnel Ruston Webster, Seahawks vice president of football administration Mike Reinfeldt, NFL vice president of football operations Ron Hill and two in-house candidates — Rich Snead, director of player personnel, and Mike Ackerley, director of college scouting.
