| 26th July, 2005 - 6:19 pm |  ESPN - Defensive tackle Luis Castillo, one of the San Diego Chargers' two first-round draft picks, agreed to a five-year contract on Tuesday and was expected to be at the second practice of training camp.
Castillo's deal is potentially worth $7,035,000, including guaranteed money of $4,664,000.
"Luis is a competitor and he wanted to be there with his teammates as soon as possible," said his agent, Mike McCartney. "It was important to do a good contract, but also to be a Charger today."
