| 23rd July, 2007 - 7:45 am |  Miami Herald - The deadline to finish signing this year's rookie class is upon the Dolphins, and the team worked toward completing the final two deals late Sunday evening.
It appears the last-minute negotiations will be successful for at least one of the remaining top picks. When rookies were to report for a late-evening dinner Sunday, quarterback John Beck and wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. had yet to finish contracts -- but both were close.
Beck, who needs to finalize a few sticking points, could agree to terms as early as this morning, possibly before a late-morning orientation meeting. Beck's team of representatives was expected to come back one more time with some final demands on Miami's most recent term sheet. [READ] |
