Pats Sign Rivers Due To Injuries

Boston Globe - For the second day in a row the Patriots had a new player parachuted into the middle of practice. Tuesday it was cornerback Dante Wesley and yesterday it was tight end Marcellus Rivers.

The Patriots have been wracked by injuries at the tight end position, the latest of which befell Benjamin Watson, who appeared to hurt himself during Monday night's workout and hasn't practiced since. Veteran Kyle Brady has not returned to a pads practice since injuring himself on the second day of camp. [READ]
