| 9th August, 2007 - 5:53 pm |  The News Journal - Eagles tight end L.J. Smith left the practice field this morning after aggravating the groin area that underwent surgery to repair a sports hernia in May.
Smith caught a pass during 1-on-1 receiver drills and came up favoring the groin area. He was taken off the field on a motorized cart. After morning practice, an Eagles spokesperson said Smith would be further evaluated.
Also on the injury front, right guard Shawn Andrews missed another practice after returning from Philadelphia, where a specialist examined his ankle. He hasn't practiced since Saturday. [READ] |
