Eagles Lose Moats For Season

Philadelphia Inquirer - Ryan Moats no longer has to wonder if he's going to make the Eagles' 53-man roster.

Any chance of that happening ended last night when he fractured his left ankle during the Eagles' unsightly 29-3 exhibition loss to the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

"He's probably done for the season," Eagles coach Andy Reid said.

Moats suffered the injury with 4 minutes, 39 seconds left in the third quarter when he was stopped by rookie linebacker Prescott Burgess for a 3-yard loss. [READ]
