Lions officials spent Sunday evaluating players cut around the NFL, looking for potential upgrades, while putting together a practice squad.
The Lions’ backup quarterbacks – J.T. O’Sullivan and Dan Orlovsky – have 17 NFL throws combined, and Jacksonville cut veteran quarterback Byron Leftwich.
Asked if the Lions were interested at all in Leftwich, coach Rod Marinelli said: “We’re going to look at all these guys right now. We’re up actually right now watching tape on just about everybody that’s been released.” [READ] |
