22nd September, 2007 - 9:29 am
Detroit Free Press - The Lions offered guarded optimism Friday about the return of Kevin Jones, but several signs pointed to the hard-nosed, versatile running back making his season debut Sunday at Philadelphia.

"I'm really optimistic. I'm excited," Lions coach Rod Marinelli said Friday. "I feel good about it. We'll wait and see. Each morning is a new adventure."

The team is scheduled to fly to Philadelphia today and Jones will wear a compression sock to limit any swelling incurred from the plane's pressurized cabin. [READ]
