Miami's Thomas Sidelined With Whiplash

ESPN - Dolphins' linebacker Zach Thomas will miss Sunday's game against the Giants in London because of whiplash from a car accident.

Tests showed no other symptoms besides the whiplash, Miami coach Cam Cameron said Thursday, but doctors recommended Thomas rest and not travel. He was not at practice.

"Obviously, that's unfortunate," Cameron said. "But there are some guys that are going to step up."

The 0-7 Dolphins play New York in Wembley Stadium on Sunday in the NFL's first regular-season game outside North America. Thomas was tested for the injury Wednesday in Pittsburgh. [READ]
