Titans' DT Haynesworth Practices, Hopes To Play
29th November, 2007 - 8:55 am
ESPN - Tennessee defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth made it through most of practice Wednesday for the first time since hurting his right hamstring on Nov. 4.

"We backed him down a little bit, but he's improving," Titans' Coach Jeff Fisher said of Haynesworth. "The big thing for him is how he's going to feel tomorrow."

Haynesworth has missed three straight games, all losses by Tennessee. The tackle said he still can feel the hamstring problem and has been surprised at how much the injury has lingered.

"We're getting better, definitely getting better. It's just a day-by-day thing. Hopefully, tomorrow will be even better, and I can go out there and practice again and not be sore," he said.

The Titans have been cautious, refusing to rush Haynesworth back at the risk of losing him in the final weeks of the season. [READ]
