Bills' Parrish Gets Five-Year Extension
15th December, 2007 - 6:09 pm
Globe Sports - The Buffalo Bills signed receiver Roscoe Parrish to a contract extension late Friday. The length of the extension was not immediately disclosed.

Parrish was about to enter the final year of a four-year deal he signed after the club drafted him in the second round of the 2005 draft. He was set to make a base salary of $520,000 in 2008.

The diminutive receiver, who has a league-leading 17.5-yard punt return average, has emerged as one of Buffalo's top offensive threats. Parrish has recorded a touchdown in three different categories this season — rushing, receiving and punt return.

Parrish has already broken the team record for punt return yards in a season with 386. His 936 career punt return yards rank second in franchise history; he needs 110 yards to move into first place. [READ]
