Patriots, NFL Deny Report On Taping
3rd February, 2008 - 11:02 am
Boston Herald - The Patriots denied a report that they filmed the Rams' final walkthrough before Super Bowl XXXVI on Saturday night, according to the Boston Herald.

"The suggestion that the New England Patriots recorded the St. Louis Rams’ walkthrough on the day before Super Bowl XXXVI in 2002 is absolutely false," the club said in a statement. "Any suggestion to the contrary is untrue."

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello released a similar denial.

"We were aware of the rumor months ago and looked into it," Aiello said. "There was no evidence of it on the tapes or in the notes produced by the Patriots, and the Patriots told us it was not true." [READ]
