Lions Cut Former Starting RB Jones

ESPN - The Detroit Lions cut former starting running back Kevin Jones on Thursday after re-signing Tatum Bell, according to ESPN.com.

The former first round pick would have been entering the final year of his rookie contract and was scheduled to make a little more $2 million this season. [READ]
