Packers Will Retire Favre's Number During Season

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel - The Green Bay Packers announced on Wednesday that they will retire Brett Favre's #4 this season, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

"Our plan and his is to retire his number sometime this season," said Mark Murphy, the team's president and CEO. "And we will make a decision after the schedule comes out."

"Our initial thought is to retire his number during a game. But what more might be entailed will be worked out," he added. [READ]
