Denver Offers Mare Deal

The Rocky Mountain News - The Denver Broncos have offered free-agent kicker Olindo Mare a contract, according to the Rocky Mountain News.

He visited with the team on Tuesday and Wednesday and came away impressed. However, he still traveled to Seattle on Thursday to meet with the Seahawks.

"I wouldn't say that there wasn't enough to make me sign here because I had a great time. I loved it and all that. But obviously when you have options, it's good to explore them all," Mare said. "I'm lucky that the teams are interested are pretty much winning programs and on their way to the playoffs. That's a big part of what I want to be a part of right now." [READ]
