Reggie Bush Eyes MVP Season
14th April, 2008 - 5:12 pm
The Advocate - Saints running back Reggie Bush is looking to have a season even with that of Hornets' point guard Chris Paul in terms of MVP consideration, according to the Advocate.

"Now I’ve got to come and have an equal or better year," Bush said. "I’ve got to get the crowd chanting MVP."

Whether or not Bush can achieve that, it's clear that he's looking forward to having a breakout season.

"Last season I was injured more than I had ever been injured in my whole career," Bush said recently. "It was hard to stay on top of staying explosive and strong in the weight room when you’re constantly rehabbing every week."

"It was a little different year. Hopefully I can stay healthy throughout the year, throughout the season and still keep myself in shape physically and up to par," he added. [READ]
