Oakland Releases RB Dominic Rhodes

ESPN - The Raiders have released running back Dominic Rhodes after his future with the team was put in question with the drafting of Darren McFadden, according to ESPN.com.

With Rhodes out of the picture, Oakland still has McFadden, Justin Fargas, and LaMont Jordan under contract.

Rhodes signed a two-year deal with the Raiders last offseason and was suspended for four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy. [READ]
