Briggs Empathetic To Urlacher's Situation

Chicago Tribune - Lance Briggs is very empathetic concerning Brian Urlacher's current situation with the Bears.

"I can relate because I've been there," said Briggs.

"There's a difference between not being in mini-camp and the first game," said Briggs, who also has had a salary squabble with the Bears. "The first game is going to hurt [without him]. I definitely don't want to step out on the field without Brian."

"Absolutely, I'm hopeful [of a resolution]. I want him to be there, but I know how things ... have to be worked out." [READ]
