Chiefs To Go Easy On LJ In Practice

The Kansas City Star - The Chiefs will go relatively easy on running back Larry Johnson during practices this offseason, according to a report in The Kansas City Star.

The team's practices begin on Monday, with coach Herm Edwards expected to bring him along slowly in order to preserve his health.

"We’ll bring him along slowly," Edwards said. "We’re not going to beat him up. We’re not going to rush him a whole lot. We want to see where he’s at."

"He’s been running straight and he’s been doing all of that for a long time, but as far as cutting and football things like that, we want to limit him some." [READ]
