Super Bowl hero David Tyree is not guaranteed a roster spot with the New York Giants this season, according to The Associated Press. The wide receiver made the infamous circus catch in the fourth quarter with Rodney Harrison shadowing him to help the Giants upset the Patriots in title game. He has a book coming out, "More Than Just a Catch," that will chronicle his off-field personal struggles, but it's possible that he won't even make the team. He had offseason knee surgery, which forced him to miss the team's first workouts. "This is the first time in my career I've ever had any kind of injury, so I don't know how to handle it," Tyree said Tuesday. "It's unfortunate that it kept me out. I should be back out there in about two or three weeks." "I look at it for what it is," he added. "I don't make the decisions whether I'm on the roster or not. My job is just to go out there and do the best I can when I have the opportunity."
