Could Cowboys Trade For Simms?

The Star-Telegram - The Cowboys could try to deal for disgruntled Buccaneers' quarterback Chris Simms if they aren't comfortable with veteran Brad Johnson backing up Tony Romo, according to The Star-Telegram.

There have been reports that Simms has told friends that he would like the chance to play for Dallas.

For the time-being, though, the team appears content with Johnson as the primary reserve.

"Brad is a smart veteran who knows exactly what to do and how to prepare for any kind of situation," Cowboys' quarterback coach Wade Wilson said during the team’s minicamp back in June. "There isn’t a situation he hasn’t been in before." [READ]
