Chad Cautious About His Return

Pro Football Talk - Disgruntled Bengals' receiver Chad Johnson wants to be cautious about returning to the field after having ankle surgery in June, according to Pro Football Talk.

"My ankle wouldn’t be able to take the pounding yet," Johnson told Bengals.com. "I’ll be OK. I’m not worried. This is a marathon, not a sprint."

He's aware that he might not be ready ten days from now when the Bengals open camp.

"I’m going to make sure I don’t come back too fast," Johnson said. "I don’t want to overdo it. Because when I go out there, I’m going to forget it and just go 100 percent. They’re going to have to pull me out." [READ]
