Eagles' Curtis 'Out A While' With Hernia

ESPN - Philadelphia receiver Kevin Curtis will be out "for a while" after he undergoes surgery for a sports hernia, according to ESPN.com.

Coach Andy Reid said Curtis is expected to return this season, but the procedure will definitely keep him out of the season opener against the Rams.

"He tried to work through it but wasn't able to function very well with it during practice, so we decided to go this direction," Reid said. [READ]
