Merriman's Season In Doubt?

The San Diego Union-Tribune - Chargers' linebacker Shawne Merriman has a few options regarding his injured knee. He could do nothing and hope to just miss a few weeks, or he could opt for season-ending surgery, according to The San Diego Union Tribune.

"It's finding out what do I need to fix, what I need to do," Merriman said. "If it's left up to me, I want to play football. I can't stand sitting out."

He has a torn posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. [READ]
