Reid Is A Huge Fan Of Eagles' Jackson

Philadelphia Inquirer - Eagles' Coach Andy Reid is a huge fan of rookie wide receiver DeSean Jackson, according to Philadelphia Inquirer.

It's rare that a rookie receiver stars in the Eagles' offense, but DeSean appears primed to be a feature in Philadelphia with Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown far from one-hundred percent.

Jackson is so important to the team that Reid decided to sit the receiver in the team's preseason finale against the Jets on Thursday.

"It's one of those subjective decisions there," Reid said. "I thought he had been playing well enough where he could sit this one out."

"I was thinking of that when I decided to sit him," the coach added. "I can't think of another time right off the top of my head. Maybe there was one." [READ]
