Jaworski Being Sued
18th September, 2008 - 1:52 pm
Star-Ledger - Ron Jaworski is being sued in Superior Court by the owner of Running Deer Golf Club, under claims his allegedly deceptive business practices forced the club to file for bankruptcy.

The civil suit was drawn up on behalf of Edward Carman, who designed, built, and operated the Pittsgrove links alongside his family since its creation in 1998.

An infrequent player at the 18-hole course off Parvin Mill Road, Jaworski offered to step in after the club hit hard times and help the Carman family overcome piling mortgage payments, according to the lawsuit.

The suit depicts how the Monday Night Football broadcaster and motivational speaker convinced Carman in early 2008 "that he would never do anything to hurt (them)" and allow his family to continue operating the club. [READ]
