Martz Expected To 'Dial It Up' Against Detroit

Detroit Free Press - A number of Lions players expect Mike Martz to dial up the offense on Sunday when the 49ers take on the coordinator's former team, according to Detroit Free Press.

"He's going to dial it up," receiver Mike Furrey said.

"Mike's a competitor, too," Furrey added. "He gets to call the plays. He gets to go out there and do stuff. He loves to win. That's Mike."

"He would love to probably throw for a lot of yards and run for a lot of yards to show he can have a balanced team and stuff like that," receiver Shaun McDonald said. "But I'm pretty sure he wants to win. That's his main goal." [READ]
