Gruden Names Garcia Tampa Bay's Starter

NFL.com - Buccaneers' Coach Jon Gruden has named Jeff Garcia the team's starting quarterback this week against the Seahawks.

"He’s going to start this week," Gruden said of Garcia. "If he continues to play like Jeff Garcia, he’s a Pro Bowl-caliber guy. OK? I’ll put it that way. Brian [Griese] has an injury, we need him back. We’re one of the few teams in football who has won games with two different quarterbacks at this stage of the game, and we’re proud of those guys. We like all our quarterbacks."

Griese was deactivated in Week 6 because of an elbow injury he suffered against the Broncos. [READ]
