Four-Digit Face Value Cost, A First For Super Bowl Tickets

Bloomberg - The cost of a single seat at this season's Super Bowl will carry a face value of $1,000 for the first time, the National Football League said on Wednesday.

The league's championship game on Feb. 1 in Tampa, Florida, also will have tickets selling for $800, and the NFL plans to make a "limited number" of seats available at an unspecified lower cost, spokesman Brian McCarthy said. [READ]
