Cassel Bites Back At Media
17th October, 2008 - 12:03 pm
Boston Herald - Matt Cassel opened up considerably on Thursday and defended his play.

“I think I’ve had the vote of confidence from the coaching staff all along, otherwise, I wouldn’t be in the position I’m in,” Cassel said. “Because we lose one game, I don’t feel I should be worried about my job, to be completely honest. I mean, we’re 3-2 right now. We’re one game back from Buffalo. I’m sure there’s a lot of teams wishing they were 3-2.

“Do we need to go out and have more production? Of course we do. That’s what we’re working toward right now. But we’re not 0-5 right now, I’ll tell you that much. We’re still working to get better and I’m still maturing every week, and that’s what we’re going to work toward.” [READ]
