Kitna: 'If They Want To Release Me, So Be It'

Detroit Free Press - Lions quarterback Jon Kitna appears to have accepted his fate with the team and seems indifferent about the possibility of being released.

"If they want to release me, so be it. If they don’t, I’ll enjoy the time with my family, get myself healthy and we’ll see what happens next year," Kitna told Mitch Albom.

Detroit placed Kitna on the injured reserve with back issues, but he claims he can still play. [READ]
